Are you passionate about serving your community and responding when people need help most? Join our team as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Eastham Fire Department and play a critical role in protecting lives, property, and public safety.

The Eastham Fire Department has vacancies for full-time Firefighter/Paramedics. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to fire emergencies, providing advanced life support medical care, maintaining apparatus, equipment, and facilities, participating in required training and drills, and representing the Department professionally both on and off duty. 

The successful candidate must possess current Massachusetts and/or National Registry Paramedic certification. EMT-level candidates will not be considered during this hiring process. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Massachusetts driver's license are required. Firefighter I/II certification is preferred. Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of a Firefighter/Paramedic and successfully meet all applicable employment requirements. Transfers from other municipal or departmental positions will be considered based on qualifications and departmental needs.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position $81,348.54 to $106,141.39. Employees transferring with relevant prior experience will have that experience considered in their starting compensation. ** There is a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for candidates that possess a current Massachusetts and/or National Registry Paramedic certification.**
