Job Description

Join our team as a  Firefighter/EMT and play a critical role in protecting our community! We are looking for motivated individuals ready to take on fire suppression, emergency response, and fire prevention duties.

Salary: $55,890 per year, depending on qualificationsplus $1.00-night differential pay Schedule: Rotating 24-hour(48/96)shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fire suppression duties, including search and rescue, and hazardous materials response.
  • Assist in vehicle extrication and technical rescue operations.
  • Participate in fire prevention activities, inspections, and public safety efforts.
  • Work with other firefighters and paramedics in high-stress, emergency situations.
  • Maintain firefighting equipment, EMS gear, and fire department facilities.
  • Conduct hydrant testing and collaborate with city utilities on fire safety.
  • Complete detailed reports on patient care and fire incidents. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid ND Driver’s License.
  • Must obtain the following certifications within one year of hire:
  • ProBoard/IFSAC Fire Fighter I
  • ProBoard/IFSAC Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations
  • National Registry EMT-B & ND EMT License
  • NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, & 800
  • BlueCard Command Certification
  • AHA BLS Provider Level
