Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation

JOB OBJECTIVE: To conduct organization evaluations and studies; monitors, collects and analyzes comprehensive data in support of the operations and services of the Little Rock Fire Department; to prepare and present analysis of findings and special reports to make recommendations for the development and implementation of guidelines, policies, and procedures to make continuous efforts to ensure Departmental activities, operations, and service levels are in compliance with Commission of Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) standards, guidelines, and regulations to maintain CFAI accreditation.

This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related area and two (2) years of experience in statistical and analytical research, evaluation, or data analysis, or a related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
  • Must obtain peer assessor certification from the Center for Public Safety Excellence within one (1) year of employment.
  • Must be available to work outside normal working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
