Firefighter Part-Time

The Village of Fox Crossing is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. ## Description The Fox Crossing Fire Department is creating an eligibility list for the position of Part-Time Firefighter. Those hired will assist in providing coverage between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and around the clock on the weekends from Friday evening through Monday morning (12-hour shifts). Applicants filling these positions will need to work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month. 

FCFD Recruitment Video - YouTube FCFD Agility Testing - YouTube ## Examples of Duties The position requires skills and abilities in Fire and EMS emergency response, fire inspections, apparatus driving and operation (if certified), public education, and customer service.  A detailed position description is available by request. ## Minimum Job Requirements - 18 years of age High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with a good driving record State of Wisconsin Firefighter I certification State of Wisconsin Driver Operator – Pumper certification (desired) Current State of Wisconsin EMS First Responder Certification or higher Completion of NIMS 100,200, and 700 ## Supplemental Information **All applicable certificates should be attached and submitted with the online application. ** The hiring process will include a physical abilities test, oral interview, skills assessment test, medical physical, drug test, and a pre-employment criminal background check.
