The City of Strongsville is looking for highly motivated and dedicated individuals with previous experience for an opportunity to be a Firefighter/Paramedic. Strongsville Fire and Emergency Services is an all-hazards emergency response agency staffed, trained, equipped, and ready to respond to emergency calls due to fires, motor vehicle accidents, medical and trauma emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and technical rescue incidents. The Department performs many non-emergency functions such as: fire inspections and code enforcement, construction plan review, public education including fire safety, CPR and first aid training, and fire extinguisher training. The successful candidate will have a passion for public safety, a commitment to protecting lives and property, and a strong desire to serve and educate our residents and business community.
