Town of Ogunquit – Firefighter | Paramedic |A- EMT Positions

The Town of Ogunquit is seeking candidates for Career Firefighter/Paramedic or Firefighter/A-EMT (Paramedic preferred) for its Fire-Rescue Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to response to Fire & EMS incidents, life safety inspections, station & equipment maintenance, fire prevention training, record keeping, Fire & EMS training and other duties assigned. Salary range $69,669.60 - $91,946.40 with comprehensive benefits package as defined in the Firefighter union contract. The typical work week is a 42-hour average, paid weekly. The set schedule is 24 hours on - 48 hours off - 24 hours on - 96 hours off.

Applicants will be required to complete a physical agility test, oral interview, background & reference checks.  If you are interested submit your resume for consideration.

AEMT wage range:          $30.67 per hour up to $38.27 per hour

Paramedic wage range:    $33.74 per hour up to $42.10 per hour

Lateral entry is available for up to 10 years of prior service for wages and benefits based on training, certifications, and experience.
