The Oak Forest Fire Department is taking applications for part-time, certified firefighter/licensed paramedics.

Current hourly rate is $20.

Part-time firefighters/paramedics work 12- or 24-hour shifts.

Do I qualify?

To qualify for consideration the applicant must possess the following certifications/licenses AND attach the appropriate paperwork to the application email reply:

  • Illinois Certified Basic Operations Firefighter or Firefighter II
  • Illinois Licensed Paramedic
  • Valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) qualification with ladder climb endorsement, within the last 12 months
  • Current CPR card

How do I apply?

If you qualify, complete the employment application and email it to Human Resources Manager Bridget DiSanto. Be sure to attach the required certifications/license paperwork files to the same email.
