Walla Walla County Fire District #4 protects a portion of southeastern Washington from five stations (41 through 45) plus an airport facility. Its mission is to "safely provide proficient and competent fire, emergency medical, and other related services to the Fire District citizens and guests in a fiscally responsible manner," delivered with professionalism and compassion.
A combination department governed by an elected board of commissioners and supported by an auxiliary, it provides fire suppression, emergency medical services and ambulance transport, and aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) service. Annual responses have grown steadily, reaching 1,158 in 2024.
