About City Of Hobbs Fire Department

The City of Hobbs Fire Department is a career department protecting Hobbs, a community in Lea County in the southeastern corner of New Mexico. Its firefighters and paramedics respond to residential and commercial fires, emergency medical calls, hazardous-materials incidents, and special rescues, and the department also runs fire prevention and public-education programs.

Operations are spread across four stations: Station 1 (administration) at 301 E. White, Station 2 at 2300 N. Jefferson, Station 3 at 1717 W. Joe Harvey, and Station 4 at 3710 W. College Lane.

Beyond emergency response, the department offers CPR and first-aid training to the public at Station 1, including Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED and BLS courses held on scheduled Saturdays each month.
