Department careers page ↗Harrison County Fire Rescue is a combination career-and-volunteer department serving the unincorporated areas of Mississippi's second-largest county. It covers more than 470 square miles and 65,000-plus residents, running over 5,000 calls for service each year.
The department operates 14 strategically located stations backed by a deep fleet: 14 Class A engines, reserve engines, tenders, brush trucks, a rescue squad, command vehicles, and specialty units. It provides Advanced Life Support with Advanced EMTs and paramedics on scene.
