About Coweta County Fire Department

Coweta County Fire Rescue (CCFR) is the career fire and emergency-medical agency for Coweta County, Georgia, in the southwestern Atlanta metro. The department operates as an "All Hazards" response force covering fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous-materials response, disaster mitigation, and community risk reduction.

CCFR runs its own advanced-life-support EMS program and even operates in-house AEMT and Paramedic training programs (the Paramedic program holds a CoAEMSP Letter of Review), reflecting a strong internal culture of clinical education and career development for its members.

The department is led by Fire Chief Robby Flanagan, who was appointed in 2021, supported by a leadership team of division and battalion chiefs, a fire marshal / community risk officer, and administrative staff. Its main office is on Turkey Creek Road in Newnan.

MissionCommitted to providing the highest-quality service to the citizens and visitors of our community.
