About Lodi Fire Department

Lodi Fire Department is a full-service, all-hazard agency responsible for structural and wildland fire suppression, advanced life support (ALS) emergency medical response, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, water rescue, and community fire prevention and education across the city of Lodi. The department operates out of four stations covering Lodi's downtown core, east side, south side, and northwest side, running a mix of engines, a truck company, a battalion chief unit, a hazmat unit, a USAR trailer, and reserve apparatus.

The department serves a mix of residential neighborhoods, historic downtown Lodi, commercial and industrial areas, and recreational areas including Lodi Lake and the Mokelumne River. It works closely with regional partners, participating in the CENCAL Fire and EMS Authority (a joint powers authority with Stockton Fire Department and South County Fire Authority) and coordinating with American Medical Response (AMR) for 911 ambulance transport, with Lodi Fire providing the initial ALS/paramedic response.

Recent additions to the department include the launch of expanded Advanced Life Support services and a new 2025 Tractor Drawn Aerial ladder truck, marked with a Push-In Ceremony at Fire Station 1.
