The department is guided by core values of integrity, respect, service, and courage, and today operates out of four staffed stations with a combined roster of 46 full-time and 6 part-time firefighters under Fire Chief Chad W. Moore.
Beyond structural firefighting, Cabot Fire Department fields the only dive team in Lonoke County, a unit it has run since 2004 under dual sponsorship with Lonoke County OES, handling underwater search, rescue, and recovery calls across the county. The department also runs community-facing programs including child safety seat inspections, a storm shelter registration program, and fire prevention education, and in 2025 opened a four-story training tower with two live-fire burn rooms to support in-house recruit and continuing education.
The Insurance Services Office rated Cabot's fire protection a 2/2X in 2024, reflecting the department's investment in staffing, apparatus, and water supply in the three decades since its transition to a career department.
